Villa Sombrero – Uniquely Mexican

There are many, many villas to choose from in and around Cabo but you won't find another like Villa Sombrero with it's great location, luxurious comfort and unique Mexican style! When first you see Villa Sombrero it is easy to see where the name comes from. The sweeping lines of the roof resemble the brim of a Mexican sombrero. Villa Sombrero captures the essence of Spanish colonial architecture with its arches, columns, enclosed courtyard and flat roof.

One one of our first visits to Cabo we had the amazing experience of helping to release baby turtles into the ocean. To see the little guys get beaten back by the waves and then just get back up and plod back down to the water … time after time was so fantastic.

From about August to the end of October, the release of baby turtles into the Sea is a unique experience for visitors to Cabo. The Olive Ridley and Leatherback turtles visit the beaches of Los Cabos where they dig holes in which to lay their eggs. One female can lay as many as 100 to 120 eggs. About 45 days later the eggs will hatch and the baby turtles will be ready for their journey to the sea. The release is typically done at sunset to give the baby turtles a better chance of escaping predators as night falls.
