The Ballena Suite features -a King size bed, day bed (convertible to two twin beds), private ensuite shower room and a private patio. Located at the far end of the colonade, the suite has a private patio adjoining the Palapa and overlooks the pool. The private bathroom features white tile with blue accents.
From the terraces and decks of Villa Sombrero you can see the plumes of water from the whales’ spouts and if you want a closer look there are many whale watching charters to choose from at the local Marina just a few miles away. The whales visit the waters of Baja California – where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez – to give birth in the shallow lagoons and school their calves until they are mature enough to leave the safety of the lagoons. Around this time the males comes to escort them out. Seeing a 20 ton gray while rise into the air and then fall back into the water with a enormous splash is a sight you will never forget.
